Pioneers:: 5th & 6th Graders

Pioneers: Camp Lutherhaven’s traditional summer camp program for 5th and 6th graders!
Whether it is your first summer at camp or your 4th summer, Pioneers get to add exclusive camp traditions just for them!
Each age group experiences their own unique programming at summer camp. The perk of being a Pioneer is getting to experience a sleep out at Homestead Village (one of the best spots to see the stars at camp!) and getting to enjoy the Giant Swing!
On top of these experiences Pioneer campers experience cookouts, arts & crafts, plenty of time at the waterfront on our water toys, way-awesome Bible Study, amazing worship and campfires, and great new friends.
- Time at the waterfront: Swimming, giant inflatable water toys, stand up paddle boards, canoes, and beach volleyball.
- Fun camp activities: Camp games, silly songs, arts & crafts, run-around games, archery, mini golf, basketball, low ropes course, and challenge yourself on the Giant Swing.
- Exploring Outdoors: Campfires with s’mores, hiking, cooking meals over a campfire, and sleeping out under the stars at Homestead.
- Building Faith: Worship together with the camp community, Bible studies with your cabin group, PTWG (personal time with God), and don’t forget support and mentorship from your camp counselor.
NEW! For our Half Week programs, June 28-30, we will end camp with a Family BBQ! Campers will still get a full day of camp on Tuesday – more swimming, singing, and fun! The day will end at dinnertime – family members are invited to join their campers for dinner that night and a closing program full of singing!

- June 28-30 *Please note, pick-up for the half week session will be at dinner time (not mid-day!). All campers attending the Half Week on June 28-30 will get a full day on Tuesday and the week will conclude with a family BBQ!
