Trek: Lutherhaven Ministries’ Off-Site Adventure Program at Camp Lutherhaven for 7-12th Graders!

In this travel adventure program, campers head off-site to experience God’s creation in new and exciting ways. TREK features three off-site outdoor experiences. Depending on the week, campers will get to rock climb on natural rock walls, bike the Hiawatha, off-site hikes, sail or kayak on Lake Coeur d’Alene, and, new this year for our high school campers, raft the Clark Fork River in Montana! See below for the off-site activities available each week.

This six-day, five-night program includes:

• Off-site Adventures: Head into your off-site excursion with a sack lunch in hand and spend several hours adventuring before returning to Camp Lutherhaven for traditional summer camp activities. Campers will return in the afternoon to debrief the experience, enjoy camp activities, and sleep in tents at their own camping area on-site. Rock climbing, sailing, kayaking and rafting trips are led by guides from North Idaho College’s Outdoor Pursuits Program!
• Time at the waterfront: Swimming, giant inflatable water toys, stand-up paddle boards, canoes, beach volleyball, and tubing behind our pontoon boat on Lake Coeur d’Alene.
• Fun camp activities: Camp games, silly songs, arts & crafts, archery, mini golf, basketball, low ropes course, plus, challenge yourself on one of our high rope activities. 
• Exploring Outdoors: In addition to off-site trips, campers will experience the outdoors through campfires with s’mores, hiking, cooking three dinners over a fire or camp stove, and sleeping in tents under the stars.
• Building Faith: Worship together with the camp community, Bible studies with your cabin group, PTWG (personal time with God), and don’t forget support and mentorship from your camp counselor!

NEW! Trek 2.0 at Camp Lutherhaven

For those who are looking for a new adventures based out of Camp Lutherhaven, this is the week for you! Trek features three off-site outdoor experiences; campers will get to go sailing on Lake Coeur d’Alene, venture through the 1.6-mile-long tunnel on the Route of the Hiawatha, and spend a day rafting on the Clark Fork River in Montana. Alongside all of the fun of Camp Lutherhaven – epic ropes course, splashing in the lake, and more!

Off-site Adventures: Head into your off-site excursion with a sack lunch in hand and spend several hours adventuring before heading back to Camp Lutherhaven for traditional summer camp activities. Campers will return in the afternoon to debrief their experience, enjoy camp activities, and sleep in tents at their own camping area on site. Sailing and rafting trips are led by guides from North Idaho College’s Outdoor Pursuits Program!

Cost includes all off-site adventures including bike rentals at the Hiawatha!

TREK:

• 9th-12th Graders: July 12-17 (rafting the Clark Fork, off-site rock climbing on natural walls, and an off-site hike)
• 7th-9th Graders: July 19-24 (off-site rock climbing on natural walls, kayaking with NIC Outdoor Pursuits, and an off-site hike)

TREK 2.0:

9th-12th Graders: July 5-10 (rafting the Clark Fork, biking the Hiawatha, and sailing on Lake Coeur d’Alene)
