Genesis Camp: Traditional summer camp program for 1st & 2nd Graders at Camp Lutherhaven!

Ready for your first taste of camp? Imagine 3 days jammed with outdoor fun! Our Genesis campers get to experience the best that camp has to offer! Swimming at the lake, playing games, and exploring God’s word. Genesis is the first opportunity for campers to experience the independence of camp all while being surrounded by caring and loving staff. Campers will build self-confidence, explore new activities that are age appropriate, and start to learn all of the fun culture of Camp Lutherhaven!

Three day, two night program includes:

• Time at the waterfront: Swimming, giant inflatable water toys, corcls, basketball, and gaga ball.
• Fun camp activities: Camp games, silly songs, arts & crafts, archery, mini golf, basketball and low ropes course.
• Exploring outdoors: Fun times hanging out by the lake, campfires with s’mores, and hiking.
• Building faith: Worship together with the camp community, Bible studies with your cabin group, PTWG (personal time with God), and don’t forget support and mentorship from your camp counselor.

2026 Dates

• June 28-June 30 *Pick-up for this session of Genesis will be at dinner (not mid-day like all other Genesis weeks!). All campers attending June 28-30 will get a full day on Tuesday and the week will conclude with a family BBQ!
